Horizon Worlds Desktop Editor Now Publicly Available In Early Access
Niantic has launched Into the Scaniverse on Meta Quest 3, allowing users to explore over 50,000 crowdsourced 3D scans from around the world. Using Gaussian Splatting for fast mobile capture, the app enables near-instant VR viewing of scanned environments and highlights Niantic’s growing focus on Scaniverse.

Meta Reveals Next Generation Aria Glasses for Research and Experimentation
Meta has revealed its next-gen glasses with Aria Gen 2, an upgraded research-focused smart glasses platform. Although the glasses are lacking any display, Aria Gen 2 features advanced sensors, including eye-tracking, spatial audio, and SLAM tracking for navigation. The company is also collaborating with Envision to enhance indoor navigation for blind users. Meta aims to launch commercial AR glasses before 2030.
