The third goal was orchestrated by teenagers Alyssa Thompson and Jaedyn Shaw. In the 83rd minute, Alyssa, the 18-year-old sensation who plays for Angel City FC, intercepted the ball on the left-hand side of the field, drew three defenders around her then slips the ball to Shaw. The 19-year-old Shaw then cleverly chips the ball at the back of the net beating Colombian keeper Sandra Sepulveda.
