Fresh off from Venice to promote their film from Spanish director and screenwriter Pedro Almodovar, the cast of "The Room Next Door" head straight to the TIFF Lightbox to attend the red-carpet premiere during the Toronto International Film Festival.
Heralded by critics and moviegoers with an 18-minute standing ovation during its Venice screening, the film, which is the first English language movie from the renowned Spanish filmmaker is set to be one of his masterpieces.

SYNOPSIS
THE ROOM NEXT DOOR
Ingrid (Julianne Moore) and Martha (Tilda Swinton) were close friends in their youth, when they worked together at the same magazine. Ingrid went on to become an autofiction novelist while Martha became a war reporter, and they were separated by the circumstances of life. After years of being out of touch, they meet again in an extreme but strangely sweet situation.
