Mark Magsayo Moves Up; will Showcase at CBN's "New Blood"

Filipino boxing sensation Mark "Magnifico" Magsayo (24-2, 16, KOs), aims to return to the ring at 130 pounds against Isaac Avelar (17-6, 10 KOs) of Aguascalientes, Mexico this Saturday, December 9 under CBN Promotions’ “New Blood” boxing series, at Infinite Reality Studios in Long Beach, California. A fan favorite for his "never say die" attitude, this marks the first time the Boholano will be back in action after suffering two questionable losses in the 126-pound division.

The scheduled 8-round junior lightweight bout will broadcast live on www.fightstars.network and will serve as an undercard to the WBO/NABO featherweight title match between Brandon “Leon” Benitez (20-2, 8 KOs) of Queretaro, Mexico, and Rigoberto Hermosillo (14-4-1, 9 KOs) of Los Angeles, CA.
