LeBron Defies Time in Lakers Comeback Win Over the Clippers

Updated: Mar 1

Highlights from the NBA's YT Channel

There is something is wrong with Lakers superstar Lebron James. While all of us are getting older, the King seems to age backwards. Listed as the oldest active player in the NBA at 39 years old, Lebron must have found the secret sauce to staying "Forever Young".

Entering the final canto with the Lakers down by 21 points, LBJ orchestrated the largest fourth-quarter comeback of his career by scoring 19 of his 34 points in the fourth stanza, knocking down five 3’s and scoring or assisting in the Lakers final 11 of 12 buckets to beat locker room rivals LA Clippers, 116-112.

Anthony Davis had 20 points and 12 rebounds, while Rui Hachimura added 17 points. D’ Angelo Russel finished the game with 18 points including a cool 3 pointer that put the Lakers ahead 114-108 with 1:12 left to play.

The Clippers missed starting center Ivica Zubac due to illness and Paul George for the second time from soreness on his left knee. Kawhi Leonard led the home team with 26 points while James Harden added 23 and nine dimes for the Clippers as they fall 37-20 in the win-loss column.

This is their third loss from the Lakers this season and their last game against the purple and gold at the Crypto Arena.  The Clippers are set to move into the Intuit Dome, their very own home, in Inglewood next season.

The Clippers had a chance to send the game to overtime with 9.3 seconds left but Lebron James locked down Kawhi with a hand on his face forcing him to miss and ending the game with an assist to Cam Reddish for a dunk that sealed the W for the Lakers.
