LA Clippers Continue to Impress; Wins Back-to-Back on the Road

After snagging two wins in a row on the road against Denver last Saturday, October 26, and then playing again the following day against Golden State on Sunday, October 27, the Los Angeles Clippers are looking motivated and poses a significant threat among rival NBA teams.

In a slugfest against reigning NBA MVP Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets, the Clippers spanked Denver 109-104. James Harden led the charge firing 23 points and 16 assists while Norman Powell scored 26 of his 37 points in the second half as the Los Angeles Clippers overcame the Joker's 41-point blitzkrieg.

The Clips' recent games on the road really showed off their tough defense. And guess what? They beat the Golden State Warriors 112-104 just a little over a day later. They shut down the Warriors' offense, making them commit a whopping 21 turnovers.

Winning away from home is always a challenging feat in the NBA, especially when your star player is sidelined with injury. Enter Ivica Zubac.

The Croatian center is clearly a man on a mission as he dominated the Warriors with 23 points, 17 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block on 52.6% shooting from the field. He made franchise history as becoming the first Clippers center to log three consecutive 20-point games to begin a season since Bob McAdoo in 1975.

Can the Clippers sustain the momentum and maintain their winning streak when they head back home on October 30 against Portland?

Stay tuned.
