The Houston Rockets defeated the LA Clippers 117-106 on Sunday night at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. Shooting guard Jalen Green led the Rockets to victory by scoring 31 points, ending their two-game losing streak.
Teammate Armen Thompson had an outstanding performance as well filling all categories in the stat sheet with 22 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block during his 39 minutes on the court.
The Clippers were once again understaffed, missing their main floor leader James Harden (Right Groin Soreness) and Amir Coffey (Right Shoulder Contusion).
Bones Hyland led the Clippers in scoring off the bench with 22 points. Ivica Zubac chipped in with 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Norman Powell, who's usually the top scorer, added 17 points. The Clippers only had 7 turnovers in the game but got out-rebounded by the Rockets 50-33, with 12 of those being offensive rebounds.
The Clippers have a four-day break before their road game against Denver on Friday night, December 13, at 6 PM PST.
