Angel City's Didi Haračić recorded five saves against SoCal rivals San Diego Wave FC that boasted a powerhouse attack in USWNT's Jaedyn Shaw and Mexico's Maria Sanchez.

In Angel City’s second shutout of the season, the seasoned goalkeeper from Bosnia blocked a header from Emily Van Egmond in the last seconds of stoppage time. USWNT and future hall of famer Alex Morgan had a second chance via a header, but Haracic came in clutch again with saving Morgan's attempt from point blank range.

This is Alex Morgan's first game after missing over a month recovering from an ankle injury. The prolific striker netted 123 goals in 223 caps for the United States Women's National Team. She played 27 minutes against Angel City and was happy to be back on the field as she prepares for the Paris Olympics.

For her nail biting saves and late game heroics, Haracic was named Heineken's player of the match.

ACFC will Play NJ/NY on the road next Saturday, June 8. The game will be broadcast on CBS and Paramount+ starting at 9:30 AM Pacific.
