New York, NY – June 14, 2024 – Tribeca Film announced yesterday in a ceremony that Come Closer won the Viewpoint Award at the Tribeca Festival. Held in New York City from June 6th – 16th, the festival features some of the best cinema from around the world.
Tom Nesher’s writing and directorial debut premiered earlier in the festival to positive reviews. Loud and Clear’s Hayley Croke wrote “Tom Nesher’s Come Closer is one of the most beautiful and visceral portrayals of grief and the ways we try to make peace with loss.”
Come Closer stars Lia Elalouf and Darya Rosenn in their first lead roles.
