After defeating the Sacramento Kings in an away game on Friday, the LA Clippers continued their winning streak by narrowly beating the Toronto Raptors 105-103 at their home arena, the Intuit Dome, securing their fourth consecutive victory.
The Clippers faced a tense battle against the Raptors, struggling with fatigue during their third consecutive set of back-to-back games. The intensity peaked in the last minute as the score stayed level at 102 with just 38 seconds left. Despite James Harden and Norman Powell being the team's leading scorers with 24 points each, they both missed important free throws in the final moments of the game.
But on the defensive end, Terrance Mann stepped up, making a pivotal block against Quickley before coming through again as the Clippers held on to a slim two-point lead, pressuring RJ Barrett into a missed attempt.
The Raptors, who have lost three consecutive games and seven of their last eight, saw Ochai Agbaji and Immanuel Quickly each contribute 21 points.
