Clippers End Regular Season With a High Note to its Adoring Fans

The Clippers may have lost 116-105 to the Houston Rockets on their last game of the regular season but it was more of a celebration of their fans' support as they prepare for a playoff showdown with the Dallas Mavericks.

The LA Clippers thanked their fans who feverishly supported them for 25 years at Crypto.com arena, or formerly known as the Staples Center. They are headed to their dream home that costs $2 billion to build, the swanky and state of the art Intuit Dome later this year.

As a token of their appreciation, fans in attendance received a bobblehead of Clippers owner Steve Ballmer, who, unbeknownst to many, bankrolled the concessions and paid the tab for more than 19,000 fans present that day

And if that wasn't enough, Rockets' center Boban Marjanovic missed his two free throws on purpose to give Clippers fans free Chick-fil-A sandwiches.  The Clippers organization has a promotion in which attending fans get free chicken if the opposition player misses two consecutive free throws in the fourth quarter.

Boban, a 76 percent free throw shooter and a former Clipper remains a fan favorite in Los Angeles and is heralded as a "man of the people."

The LA Clippers will face the Dallas Mavericks on April 21 at home for Game 1 and fans can purchase their tickets HERE.
